# About Quote Snap

Collect more requests & convert more requests to sales with powerful platform designed for eCommerce.

## A comprehensive Quote tool

**With a gentle touch of Quote Snap, we put a little magic on your sale process:**

* **Collect requests** easier from customers by customized tools for your store
* **Manage** more orders in less time with
  * Beautiful templates for sale kits: email, invoices, etc.
  * Sale at right time with the right person with real-time notifications for your sale team
  * Insightful tracking for your business growth
  * One-click integration with all tools that you love

A quotation tool is needed to streamline the sales process. A well-integrated quote basically transforms the whole get-on-the-phone negotiation process with the sales rep.

Now, instead of calling the sales rep or sending emails, buyers can click the Request for Quote button that appears on the product page and send quote requests for the product they are interested in. Also, making bargains is so easy with the quote process. Price is highly dependent on the size of the order. If customers are interested in placing a bulk order, they would like to request a more competitive price.

* **Email Notification** – Automatically send an email to notify relevant parties of the new quote.
* **Sync Data to Shopify** – Transfer the submitted quote data to Shopify for seamless integration.
* **Sync Data to External Systems** – Sync the data with other external systems as needed.

#### 1. **Show Success Message:** The system displays two radio button options:

* **Display as a Toast** – Shows a brief pop-up notification upon successful quote submission.

       **Check**: When selecting "Display as a Toast," the system should display the toast message accurately, reflecting the information entered in the text field.

* **Display as a Full-Size Message** – Shows a larger, comprehensive confirmation message after the quote is successfully submitted.

       **Check**: When selecting "Display as a Full-Size Message," the system should display the confirmation with the correct information as configured.

This ensures that the checkbox status aligns with the email notification settings defined in that menu.

3. **Sync data to Shopify:** The system displays the checkboxes in an unchecked state by default, allowing users to configure the following options:

4. **Sync Data to External System:** This option enables the setup of data synchronization with other systems via webhook. When activated, quote data will be sent directly to the specified webhook endpoint, allowing integration with external platforms. For further details on setting up and configuring the webhook, please refer to this [documentation](https://docs.quotesnap.net/advanced-features/webhook-setting-guide) for more information.

Auto Detect Language function on Auto-response email tab

When activated, it automatically detects the customer's language and sends the auto-responder in that language. However, there is a precondition to be met that is you must have the corresponding language version available in your language setting list.

For example, if a German customer submits a quote request, and you already have a German version of the auto-response email, the email will be sent in German.

**For Quotation emails:**

When activated, this feature automatically identifies and recommends the language used by customers submitting the quote requests, during the process of sending out a quotation email to customers. The language identification technique is based on the customers' locales.

# Charge policy

### App prorating, upgrades, and downgrades

If you upgrade or downgrade your subscription with an app, then the app will prompt you to agree to a new recurring app charge. This is because Shopify allows each app only one recurring app charge to be enabled at a time. The existing recurring application charge will be canceled and replaced by the new charge.

Depending on the app, the new recurring app charge is either applied immediately, or after the app's current billing cycle ends.

If the new app charge is applied immediately, then when you upgrade your plan by moving from a less expensive charge to a more expensive charge, the charge is prorated based on the difference in price and the number of days remaining in the billing cycle. For example, if you begin a 30-day billing cycle on a $5.00 plan, and upgrade to a $15.00 plan on day 15 of the billing cycle, then you're charged $5.00 + ($15.00 - $5.00) \* (15/30) = $10.00 USD.

If the new app charge is applied immediately, then when you downgrade your plan by moving from a more expensive charge to a less expensive charge, you're automatically offered an application credit based on the difference in price and the number of days remaining in the billing cycle. This application credit can be used towards any future application purchase on Shopify.

### Annual charge

If you cancel the app after using app several months, the bill of usage will be calculated by **original monthly plan** (without discount) \* **month in use**. For example:\
If you use **Enterprise plan at $19.99** on yearly charge with **discount 30%**\
so you just need to pay 19.99 \* (1 - 0.3) \* 12 = $167.9\
\
Then you cancel the annual plan on the 5th month of billing cycle.\
You will paid $19.99 \* 5 = $99.95.\
\
So you will receive refund $167.9 - $99.95 = $67.9

     ]
   }
   ```
5. Check the value of `result.0.message.chat.id`, and here is our Chat ID: `21xxxxx38`
6. Let's try to send a message: `https://api.telegram.org/bot63xxxxxx71:AAFoxxxxn0hwA-2TVSxxxNf4c/sendMessage?chat_id=21xxxxx38&text=test123`
7. When we set the bot token and chat id correctly, the message `test123` should be arrived on our Telegram bot chat.
### Get Chat ID for a Group Chat
The easiest way to get a group chat ID is through a Telegram desktop application.
1. Open Telegram in a desktop app
2. Add our Telegram bot into a chat group
3. Send a message to the chat group
4. Right click on the message and click `Copy Message Link`
   * We will get a link like so: `https://t.me/c/194xxxx987/11/13`
   * The pattern: `https://t.me/c/{group_chat_id}/{group_topic_id}/{message_id}`
   * So here is our Chat ID: `194xxxx987`
5. To use the group chat ID in the API, we need to prefix it with the number `-100`, like so: `-100194xxxx987`
6. Now let's try to send a message: `https://api.telegram.org/bot63xxxxxx71:AAFoxxxxn0hwA-2TVSxxxNf4c/sendMessage?chat_id=-100194xxxx987&text=test123`
7. When we set the bot token and chat id correctly, the message `test123` should be arrived on our group chat.
### Get Chat ID for a Topic in a Group Chat
In order to send a message to a specific topic on Telegram group, we need to get the topic ID.
1. Similar to steps above, after we click the `Copy Message Link`, we will get a link like: `https://t.me/c/194xxxx987/11/13`, so the group Topic ID is `11`.
2. Now we can use it like so (see `message_thread_id`): `https://api.telegram.org/bot783114779:AAEuRWDTFD2UQ7agBtFSuhJf2-NmvHN3OPc/sendMessage?chat_id=-100194xxxx987&message_thread_id=11&text=test123`
3. When we set the bot token and chat id correctly, the message `test123` should be arrived inside our group chat topic.
